1 of every 7 individual on planet earth logged into their Facebook accounts past Monday.
When we talk about social networking platforms, first thing that comes to mind is Facebook. The platform has only seen growth since coming into existence, with its user-base increasing with every passing day.
Now you can add one more milestone on the list of Facebook as Mark Zuckerberg, the man behind Facebook, revealed that over 1 billion users logged into Facebook on Monday, August 24. That’s 1 out of every 7 individuals on planet earth.
Mark Zuckerberg was proud of this achievement and he expressed his excitement with his followers on Facebook.
“On Monday, 1 in 7 people on Earth used Facebook to connect with their friends and family.
When we talk about our financials, we use average numbers, but this is different. This was the first time we reached this milestone, and it’s just the beginning of connecting the whole world.
I’m so proud of our community for the progress we’ve made. Our community stands for giving every person a voice, for promoting understanding and for including everyone in the opportunities of our modern world.”
According to the most recent report, there are over 1.5 billion users on Facebook, and with 1 million of them signing into the platform in just a single day shows how big social networking has become, and how the world has become so closely connected.
