The new iPhones will hit reportedly hit the shelves by September 18.
Apple has finally made its media event official by sending the invitations to media members this Thursday. The event, which will be held on September 9, is expected to serve as the launchpad for iPhone 6S and iPhone 6 Plus.
The new iPhones are expected to start selling in the market from September 18.
Apple usually arranges its media events at the Yerba Buena Centre in San Francisco, which can hold only 1,470 people at a time. However, this time around, there is a change of plan. The event will take place on September 9 at San Francisco’s Bill Graham Civic Auditorium. The avenue has a capacity of 7,000 people.
According to reliable sources, the company may also launch the revamped Apple TV set-top box during the event.
The event will hopefully start sharp at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time. The event will be live streamed on the web.
