The tech giant wants its employees to share the wonderful experience with customers.
If you’re been drooling over Apple Watch, but find it way too pricey, you’ll definitely find yourself envious of those working for the company. As it turns out, Apple employees can get their hands on the coveted device for half the price, owing to a 50 percent discount announced by the big man himself, Tim Cook.
The Apple CEO sent a memo this Monday disclosing this great news to the employees with a message saying that Apple Incorporation wants its employees to share this great experience with its customers.
The offer, however, came with a few conditions.
Firstly, the watch should be purchased for personal use. And secondly, this offer is available for only 90 days, starting April, 10th.
This is a great initiative taken by the company, especially with reference to the rivalry companies as Samsung never gave such a huge discount to its employees. Apple has a track record of being generous to its employees. In 2007, the company gave free iPhone to its 21,600 employees upon its launch.
Apple Watch is set to launch on April, 24, but the Watch fitting procedure will start from April, 10. It is the first time Apple came up with a smart watch which adds to the excitement. The Watch is available in two different sizes, but it has various band options. Its price ranges from $349 to $17,000.
According to a memo, more than 10,000 apps from some of the world’s most creative developers have been submitted for Apple Watch and these figures are increasing day by day.
