Apple Re-Releases iOS 9.3 to Fix Activation Lock Bug on Older Devices

Apple has finally released a new version of iOS 9.3, build number 13E237, for users of iPhone 5s, iPad Air, and other older devices who were facing the activation lock issue following the release of the previous update.

The Cupertino-based company had pulled the iOS 9.3 update for older devices after getting complaints about the activation lock bug that was naturally leaving users confused and frustrated.

The bug required the users to enter the Apple ID and password used for setting up the device for the first time, leaving those who had forgotten the login details or bought second-hand devices locked out of their own device.

While work was being done on releasing a newer version of iOS 9.3 update, Apple had published a support document to help affected users resolve the activation lock issue.
