The tech giant is looking to go toe to toe with Microsoft and Sony.
Just ahead of the Apple’s event that is less than 24 hours away now, some new information has surfaced regarding Apple TV.
New York Times claims that they have talked to some people at Apple and have learned that Apple TV will focus on gaming. It will have better graphics, and a new remote that can be used for navigation as well as for playing video games.
New York executives are claiming that the Apple TV is not focusing on casual gamers only, as they are also trying to win over hardcore gamers who use high-end consoles like PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Both PS4 and Xbox One are well-established consoles and it will not be easy for Apple to sway their user- base. However, if Apple TV does turn out to be the real next-gen experience that hardcore gamers love, then the tide may just shift in favor of the tech giant.
As of now, it’s all just a speculation, but the good news is that we won’t have to wait for too long to find out if this news is true because Apple is expected to reveal Apple TV along with bunch of other new gadgets at the event tomorrow.
