Facebook Notify for iOS app is here

Facebook Notify Officially Debuts on iOS

Now you can stay updated on all the happenings in your favorite area.

A couple of days back, it was revealed that Facebook Notify App would make its way to general public, and now it has finally been launched for the iOS users.

Facebook Notify is a standalone app that will allow you to get all the latest news with ease. However, instead of getting bombarded with the news you don’t want, you’ll only be notified of the news that is related to your interests.

For example, if you are interested in sports, you can just mark it as your favorite category, and then you will only get the news that’s related to sports. There are other categories available as well and you can add any of them in your interest list at any given time.

At launch, Facebook has partnered up with multiple famous sources, including VICE, Vevo, The Verge, CNN, Comedy Central, Urban Daddy, Marketwatch, Billboard, Wired, and many more. The tech giant assures that more sources will be added to Facebook Notify in the near future.

As of now, the app is only available for the iOS users in the US, but it will soon be available in other countries as well. Facebook hasn’t uttered a word regarding app’s release on Android so don’t expect it to happen anytime soon.
