Facebook to Test Dedicated Videos Section on iOS Devices

The social media giant is also testing various other features, some of which include suggested videos, watching videos in a floating screen, and saving videos for watching later.

In an effort to enhance videos experience, Facebook has come up with a dedicated videos section dubbed “Videos” that will contain videos from your friends, pages you like, your subscribers, and videos you save for watching later.

The icon for the new section is added right at the bottom of the Facebook app for iOS, replacing the Messages icon.

“This new videos section helps people discover, watch and share videos on Facebook that are relevant to them”, Facebook stated in the official blog post.

The company is also testing several other features to enhance its user’s experience. Some of them include suggested videos, an option to save videos for watching later, and watching videos in floating screen to enjoy multitasking on Facebook etc.

The feature is currently available to a very limited number of people, so you may still have to wait a bit before you can try it out on your iOS device.
