Facebook is all set to Replace Photo Sync with Moments

Facebook Wants You to Download its “Moments” App for Photo Sync

The company is set to kill its photo syncing feature in favor of Moments from January 10 onwards.

Most of the Facebook users have recently come across a pop-up window on their News Feed that ask them to download Moments app in order to use the photo syncing feature. Starting from January 10, the company will no longer support its photo syncing feature.

Moments is the new home to the synced photos. If you are not interested to download the app, then you will be given the chance to download all the synced photos in a zip file to any place safe or delete them directly from your Facebook profile.

“The Moments app lets you organize and privately share photos from your phone, and download or delete photos you’ve synced to Facebook,” mentions the website.

Moments was released in June aiming to share event photos with friends and family.

The photo manager is already a huge hit as it managed to get ranked in the top 100 free apps. The app was ranked third on the iTunes App Store earlier this month.
