Facebook Working on New Free Public Wi-Fi Finder Feature

Facebook is working on a new feature that will allow users to search for free public Wi-Fi rather easily. This new feature will become integrated in the Facebook app and when users want to connect to a public network, they will just have to tap on free Wi-Fi finder feature.

It will take them to a Google Map style screen where all the places with free Wi-Fi will be listed. This way, users can simply go to those places to access internet.

One of the Facebook’s spokesperson had this to say on the new feature:

“To help people stay connected to the friends and experiences they care about, we are rolling out a new feature that surfaces open Wi-Fi networks associated with nearby places.”

Free Public Wi-Fi Finder seems like an awesome new addition to an already brilliant platform and will certainly help out a whole lot of users.
