When Ubisoft announced that For Honor campaign will feature Knights, Samurais, and Vikings, a lot of people thought it will just be tacked on story with more focus on multiplayer. However that is not the case as the developers assure that the game will feature a campaign that will deliver full experience.
“It’s a full story campaign, a cinematic adventure where you will play as the knights first as the Warden, then you play as the Raider, then you play as the Orochi.”
The developers even went as far as to say that people who just want to buy the game for single player would be happy with their purchase because the story delivers on all ends.
“We built the campaign so that if you bought the game just for that, that you would be satisfied even if you never went online and played multiplayer. It’s intended to be a full experience.”
The story will take you to different regions as you witness the war through the eyes of three different warriors. All of the conflict will lead to one main antagonist named Apollyon, which developers describe as “pro-war.”
There was a lot of confusion about the game’s story, but this conversation interview certainly clears things up. Now we know that For Honor campaign has been given the same amount of attention as the multiplayer portion.
You will be get your hands on For Honor on Feb. 14, 2016 when it launches for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
