These new smartphones will have almost all the qualities of the modern phones, but they will be a bit cheaper.
Former Apple CEO John Sculley has been pretty busy since his departure from Apple in 1993, as he never really exited the tech marketplace. His latest venture is Obi Worldphone, which is a new mobile manufacturer that is trying to make a name for itself in the business.
Obi Worldphone is planning to come up with a range of smartphones that will cater to different audiences. There will be some low-end starter smartphones for the people that don’t want to pay too much, and then there will be full-featured high-end models that of course will be a bit more expensive.
The first two offerings from Obi Worldphone are scheduled to be announced sometime today. One of these smartphones is called SF1, which comes with a 4G/LTE phone with 5 inch display. It will be priced at $199 unlocked. The second phone is called SJ1.5. It’s a 3G phone that will be priced at $129.
Both of these new offerings will make their way to the markets in October. A fixed release date will be revealed in the coming weeks.
