Google Chrome Update to Ditch Adobe Flash, Set HTML5 as Default

Google Chrome will receive a new update in the near future that will set HTML5 as default and will remove Adobe Flash completely. If you still want to use Flash enabled websites, then you will have to manually download it.

The tech giant says that it’s removing Adobe Flash from its browser because it’s a security threat. Not too long ago, Flash enabled hackers to induce ransomware into users’ computers which rendered their operating systems completely useless. They had to download the Windows all over again and lost all of their data in the process.

Although Adobe has fixed the issue, things are not getting better for Adobe Flash. Almost every website is getting rid of it and now Google Chrome has decided to ditch it altogether.

After everything that’s been happening, it’s pretty safe to assume that the glory days of Adobe Flash are over.
