The donations will be used for providing education facilities to the needy children across the U.S.

In an effort to promote its payment service, Google has released the holiday campaign today with a decision to donate up to 1 million dollars for promoting different education related projects across the US.

Starting from today through the next 12 months, Google will pay $1 every time a payment is being processed through Android Pay until the donation reaches up to $1 million. The company says that it will be donating double the amount for every transaction that will take place this Black Friday.

The California-based company joined hands with DonorsChoose.org to support education for 6.4 million kids across U.S.

According to the company sources, Android Pay, which is a rival to Apple Pay, is available at roughly one million locations across the country, including some of the well-known retailers like AT&T, Babies, Bloomingdale’s, Macy’s, Deport, Staples, Express, and Whole Foods.
