Google Fall Event to go down on September 29

Google’s Fall Event Scheduled for September 29

The company is expected to launch new Nexus phones and Android 6.0 Marshmallow at the event.

The wait for the latest offerings in Google’s Nexus line appears to be coming to an end as the tech giant has planned an event on September 29. Although there is no official word on what Google has in store for the anxiously waiting tech enthusiasts, the company is teasing “tasty new treats and much s’more.”

It would be safe to assume that the stage is being set to unveil the highly-anticipated Huawei Nexus 6 and LG Nexus 5, with rumors of the phones’ releasing on the said date circulating the web for quite some time. As it turns out, the rumor mill was spot on after all, or was it?

Aside from Nexus phones, Google is also expected to launch Android 6.0 Marshmallow, the latest treat for those with a sweet tooth, at the event.

The rumored updated version of Chromecast, a gadget that can be connected with the television set for streaming videos from various service providers like Netflix, may also make an appearance at the September 29 event as well.

It will officially be the first biggest event since Sundar Pichai took charge as the CEO of the tech giant.
