Google’s Self-Driving Report for February Reveals Crash Details

In its monthly self-driving report for February published yesterday, Google has revealed the nitty-gritty details of the collision between one of its self-driving Lexus RX SUV and a bus. The incident took place due to the bad assumptions that, according to the company, are a routine part of driving.

Fortunately, no injuries occurred. However, one of the driver’s sensors, left front fender, and front wheel of Google’s car got damaged. The tech giant has accepted its responsibility, which has raised new questions regarding the reliability, safety and effectiveness of self-driving cars. The California-based company claims that it has “made refinements” to its software after reviewing the whole incident carefully.
