HMD Global’s Nokia 6 Variant Passes TENAA, Launches Soon

Nokia 6 variant has been in rumors for quite some time, and from the looks of it, we may be getting our hands on it sooner than we expected. Just recently, Nokia 6 variant passed TENAA, which means that it will likely launch during the first quarter of 2018.

Those of you unfamiliar with TENAA should know that this is an essential certification that everyone phone has to go through before release. TENAA is located in China, and has been doing great work.

As far as Nokia 6 is concerned, not much is known about this variant, but it is expected to look the same as recently Nokia 7 but will feature better build along with the in-demand features. Furthermore, it is said to include dual-sim option.

It makes sense for HMD Global to release a variant of Nokia 6 as it was their first venture into the market and it did quite well. Currently, there is no official release date or even confirmation of Nokia 6 variant’s existence, but TENAA has spilled the beans.

Now the cat is out of the bag, and TENAA has approved the new model, we may get an official word from HMD Global real soon. Until then however, take all the information provided in the article with a pinch of salt as none of it is official.
