How to Erase Your Apple Watch Without iPhone

Finding yourself locked out of your house with absolutely no idea where you’ve put the door key is an experience that many would find similar. As it so happens, you can find yourself stuck in a similar frustrating situation if you forget the passcode of your Apple Watch. It stubbornly refuses you entry until you enter the right passcode. The situation can get even more complicated if you don’t have the iPhone that you paired with Apple’s wearable tech with you. Fortunately, there’s a workaround to this complication, i.e. Apple Watch reset. It’s a pretty easy process that can be completed within a matter of minutes. Here’s what you need to do.

  1. Start off by connecting your Apple Watch to its Apple Magnetic Charging Cable.

  1. Now press and hold the side button until the Power Off slider appears on the screen.

  1. Tap and hold the Power Off slider until the interface changes to display three options.

  1. Tap the Erase all content and settings option to complete the process.

Note: Before you reset your Apple Watch, it’d be better to create a backup so that you can restore from it later.
