Huawei Officially Unveils P8 and P8 Max

Both the smartphones look great and pack some amazing features.

Huawei hasn’t been able to compete at the level of Samsung or Apple in the mobile phone market, but they are hoping to change that with its latest offerings, which contain some amazing firepower that can give other major names a run for their money.

Just like most of the tech giants nowadays, Huawei has revealed a couple of iterations of P8. The smaller of the two phones comes with the screen size of 5.2 inches whereas P8 max, the bigger iteration, comes with the screen size of 6.8 inches.

Huawei P8 features 2.0 GHz Octa Core, 64 bit Kirin 930 CPU that is powered by 3GB RAM. P8 will be available in three different sizes – 16, 32 and 64 GB. Furthermore, the phone includes 2600mAh battery, support for NFC and Bluetooth 4.0.

As far as the camera is concerned, there aren’t any changes as P8 carries the same 13 mega pixels rear camera and 8 mega pixel front camera. However, to enhance the users experience during nighttime, the camera includes Super Night mode. This mode gives amazing results when the lighting in the room is low. Moreover, it allows you to take Ultra Panorama shots so that you can capture the full landscape in one picture. This ultra panoramic shot can either be taken vertically or horizontally.

Like any other latest phone in the market, P8 also features Android 5.0 Lollipop. Although, this version of Android already packs some amazing features but in P8, it also includes Huawei’s Emotion UI 3.1 overlay.

All of the aforementioned features of Huawei P8 are backed up by sleek glass and metal design that provides the phone with an amazing look.

Huawei P8 16GB model will be priced at $530 while the 64GB model will cost $100 more. On the other hand, P8 Max 16GB will be priced at $582, whereas 64GB iteration of P8 Max will be priced at $688.

Initial launch of Huawei P8 and P8 Max is scheduled to happen in Mexico, UK, Spain, South Africa, Germany, China, France, Turkey, UAE, Colombia and a few others countries.
