Now that there are a ton of video calling solutions available, Skype doesn’t have the edge it once had. Microsoft has realized this downfall and is closing platform’s London office. Furthermore, it would lay off more than 400 people that were employed there.
If you’re a Skype user, then there’s no need to worry though as Microsoft confirmed that office pertaining to the platform all over the world will still remain functional. The London office is closed so that the resources that were spent there could be utilized elsewhere.
