Microsoft releases Translator for iOS and Android

Microsoft Translator App Arrives on Android and iOS

The app is also compatible with Apple Watch and other wearable gadgets.

It seems that Google Translate has got competition as Microsoft has released the Android and iOS version of Microsoft Translator, an app that receives commands in both text and voice.

It also supports Apple Watch and Android Wear smartwatches, making translation a lot easier. Having the app on your smartwatch is truly convenient as it removes the need to pull the phone out of your pocket to translate stuff. Just give voice command to the watch, and it will provide instant translation in 50 languages.

The translator has a simple and easy to use interface, making it accessible for the non-tech-savvy users. It further lets you bookmark translations for later use or browse your translation history. The app even comes with an option to synchronize your translations between phone and smartwatch.

Microsoft is already providing translation services on Skype and Bing. The same technology is used in Microsoft Translator.

You can download the app from iTunes App Store or Google Play Store free of cost.
