Apple has released iOS 8.3 firmware update that brings highly demanded multi-racial emojis to the platform.

The latest update for iOS has gone live and it brings with it a number of fixes and enhances the overall experience of the users. However, the most notable change brought to the platform through this update is multi-racial emojis.

Those of you who have been using iOS for a while would know that the range of emojis available on the platform were not that diverse. However, with the release of iOS 8.3, Apple has taken care of this problem as now you are able to use emojis of different races.

The change of this sort obviously required some tweaking in the old keyboard, so don’t be surprised to see the new look and icons that have been made available.

If you are new to the platform and unaware of how to the update to the latest firmware, then worry not as we have got you covered. Just follow the simple steps given below and you’ll be using the awesome new emojis in no time.

  1. Go to Settings, General and tap on Software Update. Just follow the prompts and iOS 8.3 will get installed.
  2. Secondly, you will have to enable emoji keyboard. To do that, go to Settings>General>Keyboard>Keyboards and tap on Add New Keyboard if emoji isn’t listed.

People had been demanding these multi-racial emojis for quite some. Apple has finally obliged. Furthermore, the changes and fixes made to the platform have helped improve the overall experience.
