Nokia to announce its flagship smartphone by mid of August

Nokia fans, you might be in for a treat real soon!

Despite various rumors making rounds on the internet, the arrival of Nokia 8 has still not been officially confirmed by the company. Previously, HMD Global, the current acquirer of the Nokia license, did launch three Nokia handsets including Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6. Not to forget, we were graced with the revival of the classic Nokia 3310.

As far as Nokia 8 is concerned, many leaks from the smartphone have been surfacing online but the company has not made any official announcement regarding the matter. However, HMD Global has announced a launch event for an unnamed product that is set to take place on the 16th August 2017 in London.

Rumor has it that the unnamed product will be Nokia 8 because of the leaks that have been circling around on the internet. Many people have already seen the smartphone’s leaked images including a variant in a slightly gold color.

So far, we only know that Nokia 8 is perceived to be the first ever flagship smartphone of the new Nokia brand. According to the grapevine, Nokia 8 has some of the top-notch features including a 5.3-inch screen, dual 13-megapixel cameras with Zeiss branding, a Snapdragon 835 chipset with 4/6GB of RAM with the inclusion of Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

To find the real truth behind these rumors, we can’t do much other than patiently wait until the 16th of August!
