Playerunknown's Battlegrounds

Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds (Review)

People have been craving for a decent battle royale game for quite some time, and there were some titles that attempted to bring this genre to life but they failed miserably. Gamers were starting to lose hope, but then Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds came on to the scene and blew everyone away. It’s not a technical marvel by any means, but the gameplay and the thrill that it brings is unparallel to anything available in the market right now. The PC version has been a huge success, and now the game has been made available on the Xbox One as well. The gameplay is still awesome on the console, but if you are looking to dive in on the Xbox version, there are something you have to keep in mind.

Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds Xbox One

Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds Xbox One version is not that good. Gameplay wise, it is still astonishing. However, the technical problems that are plaguing the current version would ruin the experience for a lot of people. If you own the fatter or slim model of Xbox One, then you’re obviously lagging behind in specifications, so expect huge frame rate drops, clipping through the maps, slow-rendering, and a bunch of other problems.

The game is an absolute disaster on the older versions, and you will just be wasting your money if you go through with the purchase. However, those of you own the Xbox One X would be glad to know that the game works rather well on it and that’s because it is the most powerful console available on the market.

There are still some kinks that need to be worked out, but the overall experience is much better as you rarely run into issues. So, if you own Xbox One X, you can dive into the game without worrying about any issues. The developers are working hard to get the game running smoothly for the older versions as well, but until that actually happens, there is no reason to make the purchase.

Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds PS4

It has not been officially confirmed, but Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds will eventually come to PS4 as well. At this point, the game is in early access, and Sony does not allow incomplete games to be released on their platforms, which is why you haven’t seen it on the PS4.

However, when the game’s 1.0 version releases, the doors will be open for it on the console, and developers would certainly want their game on it. Almost 80 million people own PS4, and even if quarter of them get their hands on Playerunkown’s Battlegrounds, it’ll be huge for the developers and publishers alike. Looking at the problems that the Xbox One version is facing at the moment, it is good that the game is not available on the PS4. If both versions ran bad, then the developers would have a lot of work on their hands as they would have had to roll out fixes and updates for both machines.

At the moment, only Xbox One version is facing issues, and it is easier for the developers to work the kinks out when they’re only happening on a single console.
