There’s no stopping PS4 at the moment. The way it’s going, it might even beat PlayStation 2’s sales.
Sony’s era of dominance continues as the tech giant reveals that it has now sold more than 30.2 million units of PlayStation 4. To accomplish these sales in the period of two years is quite an achievement and Sony would certainly be proud.
Global CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment, Andrew House thanked the users for their support and promised to stay committed to bringing the best possible games to their platforms: “We are committed to bringing engaging games and entertainment services to users worldwide. Thanks to the support of our partners, PS4 continues to be the premier platform for game and interactive entertainment innovation.”
Sony is indeed doing rather well in console market, but we cannot compare its sales to its closest competitor Microsoft because it stopped revealing sales figures almost a year ago. At that time, Microsoft’s Xbox One had sold more than 10 million units.
If you aren’t among the 30 million users, then worry not because Sony has announced that PS4 along with Uncharted Nathan Drake Collection will be available for a price of $299.this Black Friday This certainly is a great deal and will surely allow Sony to attract millions of new users.
