PlayStation Now Launches on PC

PlayStation Now, the Sony’s streaming service that enabled PlayStation 4 users to stream games from previous generation of consoles is now available on PC.

This means that PC users with decent enough rig and good enough internet connection can enjoy PlayStation games.

System requirement for PlayStation Now is as follows.

  • Windows 7 (SP 1), 8.1 or 10
  • 5 GHz Intel Core i3 or 3.8 GHz AMD A10 or faster
  • 300 MB or more; 2 GB or more of RAM
  • Sound card; USB port
  • Minimum 5Mbps connection
  • Wired Connection Recommended

You can sign up to PS Now service for a whole year by paying $99.99. However, to get you started, there’s 7-day trial as well.

To play the games however, you will need a PS4 controller and an adapter to connect it to PC. The controller itself costs around $50 and the adapter is available for $24.99.

Currently, the service has only been made available for the people in North America, but Sony assures that PS Now will make its way to other regions real soon.
