The event is set to take place on February 21 in Barcelona, the same city where Mobile World Congress will take over the very next day.
Samsung is finally ready to unveil the next Galaxy handset in its traditional way. For this very purpose, the company has organized a special event dubbed “Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2016”.
In a teaser trailer that came out just recently, the South Korean tech giant has shown a man looking at the cube with a digit 7 highlighted on it, giving the clue that Galaxy S7 will be making its debut at the event.
The said occasion will take place sharp at 19:00 CET in Barcelona on Sunday, February 21. Coincidentally, Mobile World Congress will take place in the same city on the very next day.
There is a lot we have heard about Galaxy S7’s features and specifications lately. According to a report published by The Wall Street Journal, its design will be identical to that of Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge. However, the new smartphone is rumored to have a pressure sensitive screen, a microSD card slot, and USB-C. The water resistant handset will reportedly be available in multiple sizes.
With the Samsung S7 event just around the corner, we just have to wait another three weeks to confirm these rumors.
