Another streaming app means more content to view for the users.
Samsung virtual reality headset will go on sale next month and popular streaming service Hulu intends to be a part of it. The company has revealed that it will make its virtual reality app available next month, and the app’s launch will coincide with release of Samsung VR.
A representative of Hulu stated that their service will “transport viewers into new worlds and change the way they experience and interact with Hulu.”
Although there’s no fixed launch date provided for Samsung VR, the tech giant did say that the headset will be made available before Black Friday. So it is very likely that the headset’s launch will happen during the last couple of weeks of November.
Some of the popular platforms, including YouTube and Netflix, have already announced their support for Samsung VR headset, and through them, users will be able to watch videos in a 3D environment. Moreover, it was revealed that Samsung is working on a bunch of original content to provide viewers with a wide array of options.
Samsung VR headset will be priced at $99 and with the apps that are getting ready to support it, it looks like that this headset will get really popular pretty fast.
