Sony Xperia Z4 has been made available in Japanese markets and it has been revealed that it will stay exclusive to its homeland.
Without any major announcement, Sony has launched Xperia Z4 in Japan. People were baffled with Sony’s decision to release a phone without an announcement, but the tech giants have provided a good reason for it.
Sony has stated that Xperia Z4 is not their flagship phone and will stay in Japan only. However, it does not mean that fans from other countries won’t be getting a new phone this year, as Sony assures that a new flagship phone is on the cards and will make its way to the markets later this year.
Xperia Z4 has not improved much from its predecessor, but certain changes are present. The phone has the same size and design as Z3, but it has been made a little thinner, which of course has reduced its weight.
Xperia Z4 is equipped with a 5.2-inch 1080p IPS LCD, which is supported by 3GB RAM. The 20.7 megapixels is still there, while the front camera has been enhanced to 5.5 mega pixels with a 25mm wide lens and image stabilization features.
Those of you living in Japan can get their hands on this new phone, whereas people living in other countries will have to wait for the next flagship phone. Rumor has it that the next flagship smartphone from Sony, Xperia Z5, will be hitting the shelves by the end of this year.
