Sony has entered the fast-growing movie streaming business by unveiling Ultra, a 4K UHD movie streaming service, which will officially be released in the us on April 4. For now, the service is only available on Sony hardware, namely its 4K Ultra HD TVs.
The 4K UHD experience won’t be cheap, as Sony is set to charge $30 per movie in 4K with HDR (high dynamic range).
The service currently offers a collection of 40 to 50 movies, including The Walk, The Night Before, Hidden Dragon, and Concussion.
