New Highlights feature in Twitter

Twitter Introduces New “Highlights” Feature

The new feature will only show you the tweets that are related to the people you follow.

Let’s admit it, we all like to spend a bulk of our time on social networking websites, particularly Twitter. People follow us and we like to follow other people, just so we can know what’s happening in their world. However, sometimes it can get pretty difficult to know everything because of the bombardment of tweets that are happening in the matter of seconds.

The developers at Twitter have finally taken notice of this and have come up with a new “Highlights” feature that will show you what’s trending in the people you follow.

Once you have activated the Highlights feature on your phone, you will receive a couple of notifications on daily basis, giving you look at the most important tweets of the day in your circle. You can skim through them by swiping left and right.

You can activate the Highlights feature by following the given steps.

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Go to Mobile Notifications Menu
  3. Check the Highlights Box

This new feature is currently available only for the Android users, but Twitter has assured that Highlights will make its way to other platforms as well in the near future.
