Spurred by Apple’s encryption dispute with FBI, Facebook is likely to introduce end-to-end encryption for the messaging giant WhatsApp.
According to The Guardian, the tech giant is all set to increase the amount of security it offers to users of the popular messaging app by encrypting their voice calls and group chat.
According to inside sources, the company will make an official announcement about this feature in the coming weeks.
