Microsoft announced a long time ago that they will be releasing new features for Windows 10 that would improve the overall gaming experience. However, nothing happened and no new features were announced or released. All hope seemed lost until today when Microsoft reiterated its plans for Windows 10 update, and announced the new update will be arriving soon with a bunch of new gaming features.
First and the biggest change that will be brought is the Game Mode. The purpose of this mode is to fine tune your PC to improve game’s performance. The best part is that it is not restricted to new titles, which means that older, current, and upcoming games will benefit from this feature as well.
Game Mode is currently in early access and is being tested at Microsoft as we speak. Starting next week however, this mode will be made available to a certain number of people, who will check it out for problems. Once it’s cleared from there, it will launch publicly.
Microsoft hasn’t uttered a word on how this new gaming mode would actually work, but the good thing is that we won’t have to wait for very long to find out. Game Mode, along with other gaming improvements will be made available in the coming weeks.
