The family-friendly Android and iOS app has finally made its way to U.K, Australia, New Zealand, and Ireland.
9 months after making its debut in the United States, Google has finally launched YouTube Kids in four more countries, namely U.K, Australia, New Zealand and Ireland.
There is an added treat for the Irish and UK kids as they will also be able to watch local channels, including some of the most popular kid’s brands such as Morph, Wallace & Gromit, Teletubbies and The Magic Roundabout.
For those who do not know, YouTube Kids is the YouTube’s offshoot that displays kids-focused videos such as educational programs, kids TV shows, music, and much more. It also displays advertisements to generate income, but all of them are first reviewed by a team to make sure they do not contain any inappropriate content.
According to the company sources, the app has been installed by over 10 million people only in the US.
The app is available as a free download for iOS and Android devices.
