Once the trial period is over, users will need to pay $9.99 to continue enjoying the ad-free subscription service.
Just about a week after announcing YouTube Red, the video-sharing giant has officially launched its paid subscription service. To give users a feel of the ad-free experience and other perks that constitute the new package, a 30-day free trial is being offered. Once the trial expires, users will have to pay $9.99 to continue enjoying the service.
In addition to removing the ads, YouTube Red offers a bunch of great perks like offline and background playback on PC, Android and iOS devices, a convenience smartphone and tablet users in particular had been looking forward to for quite some time now.
Subscribers to the new service will also get to enjoy access to a bunch of original YouTube content.
