ZTE Blade V8 Pro Review – Best Battery Timing Of Any Smartphone

With mid-ranged smartphones getting a lot of recognition, a number of brands have started to join in on the action. ZTE has just released Blade V8 Pro, and it is priced at $230. With this cheap price, it was sure to get some attention, but price is not the only thing that matters to people, they are looking to enjoy other features as well. Although ZTE Blade V8 Pro delivers on a few fronts, it still fails to match the standard set by other brands.

Overall look of Blade V8 Pro is pretty good, but it feels pretty heavy when you hold it in your hands. Even in pocket, it feels like a burden and main reason behind it is that it weighs much more than the smartphones that we’ve been accustomed to these days. Display on the other hand, is brilliant and quite sharp. The quality of icons and backgrounds really stand out in full HD, and gives a high quality feel to the display. If you’re okay with slightly heavier phones, then you won’t have any problem getting a hold of ZTE’s latest offering.

Blade V8 Pro comes with Qualcomm MSM8953 Snapdragon 625 chipset and Octa-core 2.0 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU. This processor is supported by 3GB of RAM. For a mind-ranged smartphone, these are pretty good specifications, and they allow users to perform all of their functions without much worrying about stutters or slowdowns.

The smartphone comes with dual 13MP cameras which contain phase detection autofocus, dual LED flash, GEO-tagging, touch focus, face/smile detection, panorama focus, and auto-HDR features. All these features combined with dual cameras help yield some remarkable results. However, when compared to competition, they suddenly become less impressive because singular camera in other mid-ranged smartphone can also get close or even better results. Secondary camera is of 8MP and does its job rather well and can yield some pretty amazing results during day time. However, don’t expect to get anything good if you use it during nighttime.

Blade V8 Pro comes with 32GB of internal storage, but you can increase it via SD cards. SD cards up to 256GB are supported by ZTE’s latest offering.

Battery has to be one of the best features of ZTE Blade V8 Pro. It comes with 3140mAh Li-Ion battery, which can last for a very long time. Even in extreme duress, battery didn’t just deplete like it does on most smartphone these days. If you are not that heavy internet user or a streamer, you phone will easily last for three to four days. However, if you do end up using this phone for streaming and excessive internet usage, then you can expect it to last you for a day or two. That’s something really unique and can’t be found anywhere else. Even the most high-priced smartphones don’t last this long when put under extreme duress.

If you don’t want to spend too much and want a smartphone that you wouldn’t have to charge every single day, then ZTE Blade V8 Pro is an amazing option. The rest of the features available in it aren’t bad at all, it’s just that the competition in mid-ranged smartphones is pretty tough these days and there are many devices that are offering better display, camera, and design. However, if you’re looking for a mid-ranged phone that can last for a long time, then V8 Pro is your best bet.
